1 was a senior lecturer in Computer Science (Faculty of Engineering & Environment) Northumbria University until Aug 2022, where he wrote and lead modules in 'Big Data & Cloud Computing', 'Cloud Computing and Web APIs' and 'Security for Web Applications' Previously Jeremy was Chief Technology of Wordmap Ltd, a commercial taxonomy developer and vendor. Earlier he was a software project manager who coordinated three EU funded Telematics projects under frameworks four and five, and was partner project manager for four further Esprit and Telematics projects.
Jeremy has PhD in Computer Science and Information Retrieval from the University of Sunderland, an MSc in Computer Science from the University of Essex, and a BSc in Experimental Psychology from the University of Sussex.
Jeremy's research interests include various aspects of Big Data, Cloud Computing, Artificial Intelligence, Natural Language Processing, and Machine Learning.Links: Links
